Home » Preventative Maintenance for X-Ray Systems in Australia
Medic Cloud prioritises delivering top-tier diagnostic imaging support to regional and remote clinics. To save clinics on call-out fees, we bundle service calls, grouping multiple clinics along strategic routes. This approach spreads travel costs across clients, significantly reducing individual fees.
As a result, all Australian clinics gain access to high-quality preventative maintenance and support at an affordable cost.
So where are we traveling to in early 2025?

Sam, Medic Cloud Managing Director
Kicking off 2025 with a comprehensive service run
To launch 2025, Medic Cloud will deploy three experienced field engineers on an extensive service run across Victoria and New South Wales. This initiative not only reduces costs for participating clinics but also allows our team to catch up face to face with our clients to get a health check on operations. We won’t lie, we also love to catch a glimpse of Australia’s most picturesque locations while fulfilling our professional commitments. See the list of places we service.
The type of work we will be doing on this run includes:
- Preventative Maintenance (PM) and equipment collaboration of x-ray systems.
- Software updates.
- Catching up face to face with our clients.
Beachside stops at Greater Geelong and the Surf Coast Shire
In January, our service run kicks off along Victoria’s stunning coastline. Our field engineers will visit:
- Clifton Springs
- Torquay
During these stops, we will conduct PM on diagnostic imaging equipment to ensure systems operate at peak performance for the busy summer season.
Regional Victoria
After completing coastal stops, the team will travel inland to:
- Mt Macedon
- Kyneton
- Echuca
These clinics will receive comprehensive service packages, including equipment calibration, software updates, and operational checks, ensuring uninterrupted performance.

Continuing along the Melbourne-Sydney corridor, our team will visit:
- Wallan
- Kilmore
- Seymour
- Albury
From Albury, we will travel further inland to support clinics in:
- Wagga Wagga
- Foster
- Young
- Parkes
- Tumut
This portion of the journey highlights Medic Cloud’s dedication to reaching rural areas and providing essential services where they are most needed.
South-east coastal route
Simultaneously, our other engineer will cover the south-east coast of Victoria, passing through:
- Gippsland
- Lakes Entrance
- Orbost.
The route then extends from the Sapphire Coast in New South Wales, all the way up to Sydney including stops at:
- Merimbula
- Eden
- Bega
- Bermagui
- Batemans Bay
- Nowra
- Wollongong.
The coastal run concludes in Sydney, where additional PM calls will take place before the engineer returns to Melbourne.
Benefits of bundling service calls
Bundling service calls offers numerous benefits to clinics:
- Reduced costs: Clinics share travel expenses, paying only a fraction of the total cost.
- Regular maintenance: Diagnostic equipment remains efficient, minimising the risk of costly breakdowns.
- Proactive support: PM prevents downtime, ensuring consistent care for patients.
Exploring Australia’s beauty along the way
This service run combines technical excellence with an appreciation for Australia’s breathtaking landscapes. From coastal views to vibrant rural towns, Medic Cloud’s engineers enjoy a unique balance of professionalism and adventure during these journeys.
Medic Cloud’s bundled service call strategy ensures rural and remote clinics receive the same high-quality support as metropolitan facilities. By planning strategic service runs and sharing travel costs, we make preventative maintenance accessible and affordable for all clients.
